MISA Meeting with Guest Speaker
We will be having Scott Ritchey, a MISA alum, and current Director of Information Technology at a local Bellingham business give a presentation on "How to Make it in IT". Please come and listen to a business professional who was in your exact shoes giving advice on how to get your name out there. We will also be giving out business cards and Tshorts to paying members. Mission Statement

The Management Information Systems Association affords its members various benefits. It gives members the opportunity to enhance their knowledge beyond concepts discussed in the classroom, including the latest information technology. Guest speakers from respected companies in surrounding business communities, including past alumni, share their experiences in the field. Networking opportunities abound, such as how to find an internship, or how to start your career. MISA also sponsors company and plant tours. Above all, members get to meet fellow students pursuing similar professions.

Membership Info

• To become a member, simply come to one of our meetings and sign up
• Dues are 15 dollars per quarter or 40 dollars per year, and entitle you to the following benefits:
• 1. Transportation to off-campus events
  2. Resume distribution
  3. Name and contact info on the website for potential employers
  4. Opportunities to meet representatives of companies that you may want to work for
  5. A way to keep up on the latest technologies and trends in the industry
  6. A great source for networking
