Course Description

ECON 389 -- ECONOMIES OF THE PACIFIC RIM (2) Prereq: ECON 206 and 207. The Pacific Rim treated as a distinct economic region. Topics include economic development patterns, interdependence, and economic achievements and problems. Specific emphasis on trade, development and policy relations involving the U.S., Japan and the so-called newly industrialized countries.
