Prerequisites: Please check to be sure you have fulfilled all of the prerequisites, if any, for your classes. Blocked Classes: When an upper-division class section fills up for the first time, registration for that class is blocked, and the section goes over to the waiting list. Enrolled students can drop, but any spaces that become available will be filled from the waiting list. A blocked section will show an OV in the Restrictions field in Classfinder. Each department has its own waiting list, so go to the appropriate department for the course you want. DO NOT JUMP FROM SECTION TO SECTION OF A CLASS WITHOUT CHECKING CLASSFINDER If you want to drop one section and add a different section of the same class, be sure that the new section is not blocked. A blocked section will show an OV in the Restrictions field in Classfinder. Override Codes: All override codes for DSCI, MIS, and OPS classes are given by the department office.
