Getting Started - Traditional MBA Program We always bring our new student group together for a program orientation and social time where we answer your questions and give you a chance to meet each other before getting down to MBA business. Below is a schedule for this year's orientation, beginning seminar, and early start date. Your course registration information is listed near the bottom of this page.
Traditional MBA Program Orientation
Monday, September 21st, 2009 Information about the Orientation Session will be sent to you shortly via mail and email. Please be on the lookout for this information and reserve the date on your calendar.
Your MBA 514 Classes Begins (an early start date) Tuesday, September 22, 2009 from10:00 am in Parks Hall 015
MBA regular track students register for one 16-credit course each quarter during their first academic year. Your fall quarter course is MBA 514 "Managerial Foundations". This course consists of six modules covering a variety of topics: intro. to professional management, competing in a global economy, economics of the firm, business statistics, financial reporting, and managerial skills. We have composed a detailed description of the first year curriculum for your reference (tentative): The MBA 514, 515 & 516 modules are scheduled in a manner to allow topic integration throughout the quarter. Thursday and some Fridays beginning, Tuesday, September 22nd and ending Friday,
December 11th Registering for Classes Register for MBA 514 online with this link to Web registration.You will first need to activate your Universal Account by visiting Academic Technology. MBA 514 will be taken only by students in your class, the 2009 Regular MBA class. This means that there is a spot being held for you, and you will not be competing for a seat. You will need to register by the specific deadline that has been established by the Registrar's Office. Registration Process
Class Materials Books The Western Bookstore is a Non-Profit Co-Op which provides monetary support for student activities, scholarships etc and is a major source of fudning for the Associated Students of Western Washington University.
